Refund policy

Short version: the waitlist is free, so there’s nothing to refund. The founding month is $29.99. You can cancel it with no fee within 3 business days of signing. After that it isn’t refundable, except in the cases New York law and your contract cover, listed below.
The founding month is in test mode right now and nothing is charged, so there’s nothing to refund yet. These rules apply from the first charge.
Within 3 business days
New York law lets you cancel the founding contract without any fee within 3 business days after the date of the contract. Cancel in one click in Account, or email or mail the signed Notice of Cancellation from your contract. We return your payment within 10 business days after we get your notice, and right away when you cancel in Account.
If no batch opens by January 31, 2027
If no batch has opened by the end of January 31, 2027, New York time, we refund every founding payment in full, automatically. You don’t need to do anything.
Missed intros
If your founding month ends before we’ve furnished 2 intros, it continues free until we have. You can also cancel any time after that and get back what you paid, less the cancellation fee.
If you cancel because we didn’t furnish your intros, we keep a cancellation fee: the greater of 15% of the cash price ($4.49) or a pro rata amount for the intros already furnished to you ($14.99 for each intro, which is the $29.99 cash price divided by the 2 intros in your founding month). Both amounts are rounded down, and the fee is never more than you paid. There is no fee within 3 business days after the date of the contract.
Moving away
If you move to live outside the five boroughs, tell us in writing. We refund $29.99 less $14.99 for each intro you’ve had, and the contract ends.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, and your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show them. A refund ends the founding contract. When you refund in Account, you choose whether to stay on the free waitlist or delete your account.

Write to us first at support@talkreps.app. A refund from us reaches you faster than a bank dispute.
Your legal rights
If the law gives you more, you keep it. Nothing here limits the Dating Service Consumer Bill of Rights.
